"Properly close to the beach. Stuff very friendly and workers on the beach always glad to bring sun umbrellas. But be aware of Expedia transportation promises. They said free shuttle. It's not free unless i missed fine print. Overall we are happy. "

"Very clean, cute, fun, relaxing and stocked with amazing drinks and food. Super clean everywhere and our room was cleaned everyday. The view of the ocean is amazing. The food was good but not amazing. Overall 10/10 experience!!"

"Myself and girlfriend stayed for 7 days at the occidental. We really appreciated the hospitality and gluten free options and awareness by the staff. They went above and beyond for the service. We were helped every morning by Emilia and Otillio at the beach club and were the best! Prior to coming we were concerned about the gluten free options and environment of the resort. There was lots to do with the xcaret park so close and discounts provided at the resort. Highly recommend and we will be coming back!"

"We loved everything about this resort except one thing, the cold pool. Very cold we couldnt even swim in the big one. The one in the front was a little warmer. They have a beautiful beach. Our room was clean and not outdated. The buffet is not super big but the food was actually good. We tried the Italian and Mexican restaurant and they were both excellent. "
