"Our entire family of 5 was so impressed by everythig about the Royal Haciendas experience. Our room was a 2 bedroom family suite and had everything we needed and much more. The room location was perfect and right across from one of the children's play pools and close to the main lobby and market. The food at every location we tried was delicious and service was impeccable. The staff take pride in what they do and go out of their way to welcome you "home". We can't wait to come back! "

"Valentin Imperial is top notch. This was mine and my wife’s fourth time to this property. The staff is always very polite, kind, and extremely hard working. They will go above and beyond to make sure your needs and requests are met. This trip we brought another couple with us. They were pleasantly pleased with the property and their experience. They kept telling us how much fun they were having. The grounds at this resort are beautiful. The natural environment is what I love. You see wildlife as you walk down the paths on your way to the pools, beach, and restaurants. Can’t wait to plan our next visit! "

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked a swim out room, and thankful I did. Was nice waking up every morning and having the ability to jump right into the pool. Room itself was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the furniture was simple, but worked. Didn't feel trendy or dated. I dined at the 2 of the restaurants and did the buffet. I've read a lot of complaints about the food, and honestly, nothing I had was bad. On the same note, nothing also really stood out. I used the room service feature, and the wait time was about 45 minutes, so please keep that in mind if you are famished. Staff were professional and courteous. I went in the season of sea weed, so the beach was not accessible (I travel to Mexico often, so this is not a surprise to me. Please research when this happens so you are not caught off guard by it). I have only 2 minor complaints. The first, is I am an early riser. So I had to wait till about 730/0800 to get my swim time in as they were doing the maintenance on the pools (not dinging them for this, as this is very much a resort that has an active night life). The second is the remoteness of this location. My excursions that I booked, I was in the cab/vans a lot due to being the first one being picked up (e.g. I booked a Chichen Itza tour, and left at 0700, and got back at 2330). So if you plan to do any long excursions, look at spending the extra money and do it exclusive). I had a lot of fun and would stay here again."
