"We needed to use Tesco vouchers and decided to come to York. This was the best option in our budget and it didn’t disappoint. Great location, walking distance to the city. Clean, tidy and a welcoming property. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen provided tea, coffee and eggs for breakfast if required. We were welcomed by Lilian who showed us around and explained how things worked and provided us with local knowledge to get about. Couldnt fault the property. Would and return...

"Nice area and friendly welcome from the owners. Lot of building work at the rear of the property which was very noisy first thing in the morning which probably worth noting on the website. Property was reasonable but lacking in ventilation as the bedroom window was defective as was the skylight. Overall our stay was fine however if those mentioned shortfalls were addressed it would be a 5 out of 5"
