"Hotel Milner was perfect for a pre-Christmas break to explore York. Most of the staff were very friendly, our room in the main hotel was charming and breakfast was delicious. The mattress in our room was a little hard but that’s just a personal preference Tastefully decorated for Christmas without being garish or OTT Ideally situated for rail travel as there’s a side door right into the station! "Visited for one night and we were both very impressed for the price. The staff were all friendly, the room was nice and clean. We stayed DB&B and the breakfast was lovely from the buffet. The evening meal was at The Fat Abbot and this was also really good. Following the meal we sat in the bar at the hotel and ennjoyed a drink in front of the open fire. Liked it that much we are having another night next week."

"The staff was really friendly and the room was lovely, the bed could have fit 4 grown adults in it and im on the chunky side, so plenty of space, lovely wolk in shower, and no need to worry if you've forgotten your, showe gel/shampoo/condition as they have bottle despensers full in the bath room waiting for you, the parking is gated with a code for safe secure parking up to 1pm even aftr check out so was able to leave the car while we went site seeing and then come back and drive back hom."
