"No words can truly capture the beauty and rich history of this place. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional...valet and door greeter were polite, warm, and welcoming. The decor throughout the hotel was stunning, filled with charm and character. Vintage and in pristine condition. The cleanliness of every inch of the building is something to admire! The highlight of our stay was the tour of Room 311 with Mr. Kirby with the Derby experience. Mr. Kirby is an absolute gem..kind, funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He has a natural presence that belongs on a stage, captivating guests of all ages. His storytelling brought the history of the hotel to life in a way we'll never forget. If you're visiting, make sure not to miss the tour. Mr. Kirby alone is worth the trip! •only complaint is that air was a little messed up and it never got cool enough "
