"We had our first family vacation to NY and we chose the Belvedere because of the reviews, the location and the amenities. And it did not disappoint. The hotel is steps away from Times Square yet it's on a quiet side street, so we were able to rest at night without having to wear earplugs like other hotels. It is also 1-2 blocks from the subway. We came for the musicals, and it was within a few minutes walking distance. There are so many good restaurants within .5 miles, so you will not go hungry. We reserved a two double bed room. Even though the bed was smaller than we used to, it was comfortable. The mattress on my husband and my bed did have is rolling a bit to the center, but it was okay. We loved the microwave, fridge and mini sink as well as the extra handheld shower head in the shower. The maid service was okay. I wrote daily notes (with a tip) to ask for the items she missed the previous day and ended up writing them to thank her even on days we didn't need anything. The bellman was super helpful checking in our luggage after checkout and also having a key for us to be able to use the rest room downstairs before we left. He told us that this hotel uses to be a residence, and there are still some who love in the rooms under rent control. I find this interesting. Overall, we very much enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again."

"A perfect location to enjoy all that Broadway offers, at reasonable rates. Love the respect and embrace of it's art deco history. Remodel is nice, while preserving historic origins. We've stayed numerous times."

"Stayed 5 nights then after a week stayed 2 nights. Both times were equally good. This was a business oriented professional hotel with attentive service, and convenient location walkable from union station (and thus airport via airport train). Accessible with flat entrance where cars park and via a few steps at the opposite hotel entry. Lift access to rooms. Rooms are quiet and modern with very comfortable beds and power points by bedside. Great water pressure and easy temperature control of showers. Some towels were a little thin and should have been retired but everything was very clean. Rooms are dark so not great if you intend to stay in the room during the day but perfect for sleeping. Basic kitchenette was a nice addition to the room. Plenty of dining options and shops in the area. Great cafe on site, reasonably priced with nice coffee, pastries and hot food. Good value stay considering how expensive Toronto hotels are. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The only problem I had with this hotel was that at check-in, a black woman, a bit rude because I didn't want to pay for the upgrade she was offering, assigned me a room (1460) with a view that was worse than terrible. I immediately went down to the front desk to complain, and a very kind gentleman assisted me. He understood the situation and moved me to an excellent room (3509) with a partial view of Times Square."
