"Although the location was excellent, and for the most part, the room and balcony was wonderful. The microwave didn't work. Our private shower, the water only trickled out of the shower head in our room, the other shower was a little better. The ac worked but would not regulate. Either it was too cold or too warm. The patio area where you could congregate was an awesome place for our group to meet. We had a great time with that and the pool and bar area was excellent. The only problem we have...

"Does not allow eating in room but kitchen space was not clean/unusable, out of the way and inconvenient (almost dangerous stair access) to get to from room especially in the rain. No filtered water available. Shower pressure needed to be turned up; it was basically a heavy drip. Our room was #4 outside of main entrance and reception area, so we heard everyone coming and going all hours of the day and night. "

"Excellent option for vacation stay. We had cool air conditioner, good WiFi, kitchenette with electric stove and kitchenware. Hot/cold water runs well. Good hotel restaurant and there are many others in the area.Very close to the beach. There are mini shops close by. And a lot of sun, sand and ocean! The host and the staff are very kind, responsive and very helpful. Highly recommended! Roman and Oxana."

"Roxie and Rudolfo are welcoming hosts and their place is really well - located. It’s very easy to get to the main square and the bus station and it’s clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a really friendly vibe! I would recommend it 100%"

"The room was clean and most things were fine (hot water not consistent and wrong wifi password given in the room though) and Ana was nice, but overall our check-in was difficult. The neighborhood seemed unsafe to arrive to at night and no one was there to let us in when we arrived (we only got in thanks to another traveler). Apparently Ana was supposed to come meet us at the time of our arrival, but we were never asked beforehand for that information and didn't know there would be no reception....

"This was our first time staying at a RIU resort and we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back. The all-inclusive was fantastic, all of the restaurants are really good. The buffet was great. We really enjoyed the adults only, we attended the RIU party, which is highly recommended"

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

"I recently stayed at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, and while the resort has a lot to offer, there are some things to consider before booking. Amenities & Costs The resort has plenty of amenities, from pools and water slides to entertainment areas, but everything comes at a cost. While the facilities are modern and enjoyable, the prices for certain services and activities feel quite high, especially when considering the overall resort cost. If you want to take full advantage of everything, be prepared for extra charges. Staff & Service The friendliness of the staff varies. While some are welcoming, I noticed that in the coffee lounge and bars, when asking for a simple juice or cocktail, a few staff members seemed annoyed or disinterested. It’s disappointing, as great service is a big part of the vacation experience. However, Krystel at the Expedia check-in and check-out table was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly helpful, efficient, and made the process smooth. Her friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out. If you need assistance with anything, Krystel is the person to go to! Pool & Beach Experience One frustrating issue is the lack of control over deck chairs. If you don’t wake up early to claim a spot, you’re out of luck. It would be great if the resort implemented a better system to manage seating fairly. Dining & Reservations The restaurants are very busy, and making reservations is a challenge. Without Krystel’s help, getting a table at a dece"
