But the best part is that it feels like you’re in a rainforest and all the animals. I would also like to add, how amazing the staff is every single person we interacted with was phenomenal. The only thing that I think that could be improved is being able to reserve more than just three restaurants for dinner per stay! "

"Stayed for a week to have Dental surgery. As I was experiencing some discomfort and didn't want to go out, the pool area with its' breeze was a relaxing way to spend the rest of the day. The Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffets provided more the enough variety to be sure there was something I could eat every day depending upon the condition of my mouth. I will be back in January for 2 weeks to complete my Dental work. I will definitely be staying here."

"We had such an excellent trip to the Barcelo Maya Colonial! As a family with children (7 & 14) we have been to the area three times now. This was, by far, our favorite trip to date. The 5 resorts are all essentially linked together. You stay in one but can use any of the pools, restaurants, and activities at all of them. There is a double-decker bus that makes stops all around the complex and runs almost 24/7."
