We got the family selection swim up while it was on sale and we were treated like royalty, everywhere we went! The resort is so beautiful and there are so many things to do! They have all types of different animals on the property like flamingos and monkeys, felt like we were staying in a zoo, which is an extra experience in itself. The kids pool was so big and full of so many activities, its too bad my 2 year old was too scared to go on the slides. We did the full moon dinner which was so beautiful and the food was so good, we had to pay extra for it but we also got a beach cabana for free, it didnt cost any more than an average dinner for 2 in NY and they didnt charge us for the 2 year old, eventhough they were bringing him food too and he loved it as well. There's a seawater pool at one of the other hotels in the resort and that hotel has a buffet restaurant called Helios, which was the only buffet with good food. I wasnt a fan of the food or the cart transportation. The meat seemed overcooked or just dry and waiting for a cart was very time consuming. A different resort i went to had a phone outside of your room where you can call a cart to come to you and it came right away. Having to have to go through our butler wasnt ideal. Otherwise we loved our stay, i definitely recommend the family selection option if its affordable. I can keep going about all the great things at the resort but its a lot!!

The Grand Palladium- Family selection was a slice of Heaven. The family and I went to celebrate Christmas in Mexico and we enjoyed every bit of it. We had a villa with a beach front view. It was very spacious and modern. The kids had their own bathroom- that was a plus. We had our own Jacuzzi on our balcony. The beach was clean and had enough chairs with warm clean towels. The Caribbean Sea did not disappoint- beautiful blue/green water with clean white sand. We went to the beach everyday. We had access to the pools from all 4 Palladium resorts and the restaurants from all 4 resorts. The water park was a big hit with my 12 year old son. The grounds were immaculate and the staff were very attentive, polite and professional. The flamingos put on an amazing show for us. House keeping went above and beyond to make our stay special- we appreciate the little notes and special gifts left under our pillows. This was our first time in Mexico and we will be back and will definitely stay at this resort again. I highly recommend for families with young kids and/or teens.

We have stayed at a few other all-inclusives in the same area. We stayed Family Selection Beach Side Swim up which was by far the best room we have stayed in. Would highly recommend this room! The cleanliness was at the resort was great!! Way to go cleaning crew!! ⭐️ 🙌 As with all all-inclusives that we have stayed at, it's super frustrating trying to get dinner reservations. At this resort if you are in family selection, the butlers assisted with getting the dinner reservations making that part much BETTER than other resorts we have stayed at. I will say it still is frustrating to then get to the restaurant and see it's not full and they could seat more people. Spa was nice. Hydrotherapy was not impressive compared to other resorts. Massage/Facial was fabulous! The staff are what make the place special. We had amazing butlers, Abraham, Emmanuel, and Luis. Eduardo at the Family Selection desk was exceptionally helpful when I was upgrading. The security guy in the Family Selection Area was awesome and the tram driver who transported us many times all great people! Service work is not for the faint of heart and your work does not go unnoticed, thank you all so much for showing up and going above and beyond. ⭐️

We really liked surroundings, nature, animals(monkeys, flamingos), property is renovated and is in a very good condition (rooms and other common areas). Beach is beautiful, and there are a lot of fishes if you like to snorkel. Drawback was line to eat, every single day to enter a buffet it was anywhere from 10-20 minutes in line(we also tried different times but that didn’t help). Also, entertainment start time was 10 pm and 11 pm, and while we really wanted to attend all shows, our 7 year old would just pass out by that time, in our opinion it was a little too late. We were at this resort for a week and there was no food rotation at this buffet compared to other resorts we have visited in Mexico. While food quality and taste was very good, it was exactly the same food every day. If you go to the beach after 10 am there are no sun-bed chairs available, many people either went to the beach to put their towels on chairs early am and then went to breakfast or ended up sunbathing on the sand laying on their towels.

Came for a wedding. Was shocked at how subpar this resort was for the money it cost, and star rating it has. The food at the buffet was literally the exact same every day, every meal. On top of that, it wasn’t good, and was never hot either. The staff are mostly very unfriendly. The grounds/activities/pools were very average, nothing great. Someone came to “clean” our room every day, but the only thing they did was make beds (which is the least necessary cleaning service we needed). Our counters didn’t get wiped/cleaned once during our one week stay, and ended up with a bunch of bugs attracted to the drink rings left on them. The entertainment was practically non-existent. The only one good thing we have to say about this resort is that the kids club was great. Lots of staff, and did lots of great activities with the kids throughout the day. Overall, we felt very ripped off for what we paid. We paid almost half the price to go to Grand Sirenis next door, and even though it is only a 4 star, it looks and feels far more like a 5 star than Palladium. Food, staff, grounds, activities, entertainment, housekeeping -all of it is exponentially better at GS, and way more on offer too. Would never recommend Grand Palladium to anyone.

This was one of the worst stays/experiences I have ever had. The service was terrible, the food was terrible and the resort lacked any cleanliness expected of something this expensive. From the moment we arrived we experienced issues with our room and setting up the weeks agenda seemed like a far too complex task for the concierge, I had to be begging daily for reservations to their available restaurants and still they were never able to accommodate the amount of people in my party. Everyone in my family got sick and some people got both food positing and a flu. It was issue after issue that ate away at our hopeful optimism for an enjoyable stay. The employees seemed miserable and some even confrontational when asking for basic amenities. I would not recommend this place and hope that this review prevents others from having the same experience.
