The excursions are what make this area, because the downtown area is unbelievably small. The beach was nice enough. There were workers working hard to control the seaweed, which was very appreciated.

The locals were so helpful and so friendly. They were fun and interactive. The fresh fish, was caught and prepared for us. Just delicious. This place is magical.

Be careful when shopping, You should always ask how much is it in American dollars because when they tell you in pesos it usually is more expensive then it's worth. Also, I think an all inclusive hotel might be the way to go because food is expensive

Punta Cana has a beautiful sandy beach with blue blue waters! The weather is excellent although it is breezy all the time- both good and bad as it keep you cool but there are some amount of waves to deal with in the Atlantic.

Transportation to hotels in terrible. Uber does not pick you up at the airport. You are at the mercy of local taxi drivers and you have to haggle with them for a decent price.

Very kind and attentive people around the town, its a must to know Spanish to better communicate with them and make friends/acquaintances there to so they can recommend you places you can go safely. Most recommend staff at the resort your staying.

Punta Cana is very lovely. It's clean and clear. 99.9% of who I came in contact with were very nice and very eager to help, despite the language barrier. I will definitely visit Punta Cana again but will stay clear of Punta Cana Blue Beach.

"Very welcoming. They helped us with our luggage and were very helpful throughout our entire stay. Check in was easy. The resort is beautiful. Rooms were espectacular. The only complaint was that it was very difficult to reserve a spot at any of their a la carte restaurants. We were there for five days and were only able to reserve one restaurant and we looked immediately upon arrival. "
