"I stayed here solo for 2 weeks and I felt super safe. Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing, lobster restaurant & the grill was my favorite. Beach is beautiful. You can walk to the right of the beach to swim if the waves are too strong. Everything was amazing. Absolute paradise! Highly recommend! 10/10"

"We had a fantastic honeymoon at Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana. The beach was fine white sand and the water crystal clear. The rooms were clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The swimming pools and swim up bars were beautiful. Lots of dining choices with variety. The entertainment at night was terrific. Outstanding entertainers, musicians, dancers, singers. Great attention to detail and everyone there is committed to making your stay unforgettable. We had our own butler who made dinner reservations and answered any questions we had. I would rate this hotel a 10 out of a possible 10."

"We thought the food quality was decent overall, to better than average, compared to a couple of other AI resorts (1 Jamaica and 1 other PC). The room was well-appointed and the Nespresso was a nice touch. The staff were overall very pleasant. The beach was perfect with plenty of chairs and towels in our club areas. The only downside was the decor/theme in the various restaurants (Italian, French and Japanese) we thought the lighting and decorations could be significantly improved to add to the ambiance. In our opinion, this would be a nice time to remodel those and make them feel more special. "

"Excellent pool atmosphere. Very clean and not so busy you can’t get chairs. Restaurants had a lot of good options. Few notes on food areas. The main buffet has decent selection. However the food was often cold. Eggs being brought out in a new pan were cold right when taken. Throughout the restaurants they had the seafood house, that was the most dissatisfying. The surf turf dinner was not good. Small lobster tail. The “ ribeye” was not a ribeye. It was more like a pounded flank steak and they could not get the cook to medium rare. Always over done. Some menu items crossed. The same ribeye at lobster house was the same at the French restaurant. Main bars had decent selection of liquor. There were some beach bars that had top shelf. Beach is a short walk from pool. One thing annoying at this resort is the constant bombardment of executions. You get hit up when you bring in luggage. When you’re at the pool. And on the beach. They are non stop in your face to book excursions. Also, they are allowing vendors to sell jewelry, fake handbags, and other junk on the beach. At times there were non stop in your face haggling. Pool areas and beach front were always clean and able to get chairs and the waitstaff was wonderful about bringing drinks, food and checking in on you. The rooms were big, good amenities, how ever something was off with the electrical. Could barely charge a phone. The AC would not stay on and could not keep the air flow moving. It said it was 68. Lowest it could go"
