Family friendly Hotels in French Quarter, New Orleans

"We had a very wonderful stay here. Our room had a lovely balcony that looked out onto the French Quarter. Staff was excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. All the sights to see are walkable from the hotel. We plan on staying with Maison Dupuy again on our next visit with one and only one request. Please so kindly invest in new pillows - that is our only constructive criticism. The pillows could definitely be better and more comfortable. "

"We chose this hotel because of its excellent location in the French Quarter and also because of its historical significance. The hotel was beautiful but there were several inconveniences we endured. At least 1 elevator was out of order our whole stay. The hot water boiler broke and the hotel was without water for at least 12 hours. The city sanitation system had a shut down and we couldn’t drink tap water for a day and a half. The last inconvenience was not the fault of the hotel but compounded...

"Staff and service: TOP NOTCH, especially the valet parking and front desk staff. Both so pleasant and made us feel welcomed. Thank you! As for the property, I feel like carpets need cleaning or maybe deodorized or something. Air freshener in the hallways would be nice too. Room 1507’s bathroom smells weird but overall, I would stay here again because of the location, price and of course the staff. "

"This quaint property was in a perfect location for our visit to the French Quarter. It is within an easy walk to the Natchez paddlewheel (just across the street), the French Market and Cafe du Monde, Bourbon Street, the trolley stations, and many restaurants. The staff was very friendly. The inn felt like a boutique hotel with several buildings, each with just a few guest rooms. The room was spacious, quiet, and nicely appointed. We would definitely stay there again on a future trip to NOLA!"
