I don’t know where to start…the bathroom door that wouldn’t close with screws falling off the hinges? The horrible paint job across the whole property interior? The filthy carpets in our room, the peeling paint in our bathroom, the broken shower handle and water that wouldn’t get quite warm? Dirty counter tops in bathroom, no hair dryer, etc etc list goes on and on. Let’s also mention this is after we asked to be upgraded from a deluxe king to a “suite” and paid an additional $100 a night. I have no idea how people would give this hotel a high rating? Old and dirty and staff that sat around on their phone looking bothered to speak to customers. Needless to say would NEVER stay here again.

Loved the appearance and location of the hotel. Very comfortable and clean room. Would have liked to have a chair in the room. Would love to stay there again.

The water in the shower never Got hot the first few days. We had to the shower run for 30--40 minutes.

Location was great - walkable less than a mile to trolleys, great restaurants in French Quarter, and activities like steamboat cruise, Caesars Casino, shopping, etc. Staff at the hotel were nice and friendly. We can hear live jazz music down the streets from our second floor room late at night, which we did not mind.

Great location, service, cleanliness. Shower fixtures broke twice in three days for us, and once for our friends in a different room! Location couldn’t be better, in the midst of the French Quarter, so don’t expect it to be quiet at night.

Location was good, but room was incredibly small for a "suite". Did not receive any upgrade for VIP access - not even complimentary breakfast!
