Beautiful property (courtyards, fountains); courteous, friendly service; PERFECT location, literally next door to St. Louis Cathedral and a block from Café du Monde and the river and close to everything in the Vieux Carré. Easy walks to Frenchman St. in Marigny AND to the Convention Center area in the other direction. Previously, I had stayed at their sister hotel the French Market Inn, which was also great and also conveniently located, with a super-friendly, helpful staff, but the Place d'Armes was something special, right on Jackson Square, in the heart of the heart of the NOLA most visitors would want to experience.

In the midst of the worst trip we have ever taken due to the freak snow storm and our bags never arriving Place d’Armes was a light. The friendly staff helped cheer us up and keep us laughing. Definitely would recommend to others

The location was great, walking distance to all tourist sites and tours. Bourbon street was a block away. There were artists, musicians and shopping within a few blocks. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent.

The location is unbeatable! While it was unseasonably cold during my stay, the outdoor spaces are great as well. Factor in the $50/night parking as you are budgeting your stay. Highly recommended.
