"An extremely warm welcome set the tone for my visit, yea and cake to start off with. First class service delivered by the marvellous hosts. A very well appointed room and en-suite bathroom. A fantastic house with a spectacular spacious garden. Minutes away from the Bird in the Hand pub and restaurant. I will be back for future visits to my family in the area. Only con was the narrow steep stairs up to our room but we didn't ask for accessible room when booking so our error. Central location, easy walking distance to city centre. "A wonderful experience, it’s just a shame you can’t walk back to your room in your dressing gown and flip flops after your spa experience. You have to get changed back into the clothes you arrived in before leaving the spa building and crossing over into the hotel."
