"I loved this Hotel. Very welcoming and friendly. I particularly liked the fact that the breakfast was freshly made to order and piping hot, no lukewarm buffet. Good evening meal options also. Within a mile to Chester town to walk or staff will call you a taxi. Will definitely return "

"Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. "

"LOVELY HOTEL JUST HAD A MAJOR REFURB. ALL THE PUBLIC AREA'S WERE LOVELY. OUR ROOM WAS EXCELLENT. DECOR WAS NICE. WE HAD A WONDEFUL BREAKFAST.. ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE LENGHT OF TIME IT TOOK TO CHECK IN. WE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN. WE NEEDED TO LEAVE OUR BAGS. PLUS THE FACT YOU COULD NOT CHECK IN UNTIL 4PM. MOST HOTELS IT 3PM. "

"Second time we've stayed here, good leisure facilities, good location (5 mins walk to centre), breakfast included but can be long queues for buffet. Pity the parking is extra but not a deal breaker."

"I have stayed in two of the apartments (3 and 5) - both have an equipped kitchen/living area, two bedrooms with bathrooms, and a washing machine. Apartment 3 is on the ground floor. Apartment 5 is on the first floor (up stairs) has an additional powder room. The apartments are located in an annex within easy walking distance of the hotel and all the sites in the city centre, about 100 yard, close to the city wall and River Dee. Parking is a bit crowded - barely enough space if all the apartments...
