"My husband and i stayed in the grosvenor room top floor with balcony to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Beautiful room. Clean & well presented. Staff were lovely. Quick to help when needed anything. Food in the forge was absolutely gorgeous. Overall really nice hotel to stay in."

"We loved our stay at Rowton hall, our room was a master suite with a separate lounge which was great to relax before bed. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from, we had 1 dinner which was very good again plenty of choice. The locations is secluded but only 10 mins from chester centre very handy for shopping or site seeing. We would stay again."

"A really lovely room, it appears to be new. The shower room was amazing, great shower and the tiles looked really nice. The floor of the bedroom wasn’t clean on arrival but when I asked about it they dealt with it quickly. All staff were very friendly and the service was great in the restaurant. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and great value. We were given £20 vouchers due to our tv not working during our stay which was a kind gesture. The parking is included and so convenient....

"Really good central location which offered good value for money. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond when we accidentally left our son’s soft toys behind. Beds comfortable and a well-designed room layout. Only downside was the very worn bathroom area. Flooring reminiscent of a 1980s leisure centre and the toilet door allowed only a little privacy due to very limited frosting. Ok for our family but maybe not for a romantic mini-break! Would recommend. "

"Me and my daughter had the most wonderful festive break. The hotel was decorated beautifully. The food, Christmas cocktails, and the festive afternoon tea were fabulous and all the staff were so friendly and professional. We can’t wait to come and stay again next year. "

"An extremely warm welcome set the tone for my visit, yea and cake to start off with. First class service delivered by the marvellous hosts. A very well appointed room and en-suite bathroom. A fantastic house with a spectacular spacious garden. Minutes away from the Bird in the Hand pub and restaurant. I will be back for future visits to my family in the area. Very tasty breakfast ideal for setting up your day of activities."

"We where disappointed to say the least with the condition of the property and very disappointed with the fact it was a basement apartment ( which was never mentioned) on arrival we found it dirty and dark . We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. As part of my working life I have to conduct risk assessment,s with this in mind this is unacceptable We went out for a walk when we returned we wanted to shower...
