"Only problem was with the vending machines! took the machine but did not dispense the goods (water and crisps) luckily the guy on duty was able to give me the goods, he had no idea about how to fix the machine though, not his fault he was very pleasant and helpful. "

"Staff great on arrival and location is brill for Chester town centre. All public areas are really well looked after. Breakfast was good with hot buffet food although would have liked a little more choice of fruit not just peaches and grapefruit. Room was just what we needed overlooking the canal, quiet and clean. Definitely recommend. "

"We had lovely stay. The staff at checkin were friendly amd helpful. Our room was tidy and the little extras like a small fridge, iron etc came in useful. We bought some time in the spa area which was very nice. The aroma room and open air spa pool were especially nice. The swimming pool is quite narrow so if you are intending to swim laps you might struggle when busy as it can only take two swimmers comfortably. The breakfast and evening meal were served promply and we had great service. The pepperoni pizza and the porridge were particularly enjoyed. In the hot weather the a/c theoughout the whole hotel and in the room were appreciated! We would definitely stay again "

"Came with my husband and 2 children 4&5) and my inlaws. Husband and father inlaw played golf...they had a fantastic time. Mother in law and i took the children swimming and went to the park. Lots to do wven though the children were too young for the big activities. We couldn't eat at the main restaurant in the evening as there was no space for the 6 of us which was disappointing. I think guests at the hotel should have some sort of priority to dine first. We went to a local pub for our evening meal instead. It was lovely but not ideal. Would have rather stayed on site. Breakfast was delicious. Room was great. "
