"Excellent stay - we loved it, hotel was clean and welcoming, with an excellent variety of dinner options. There was plenty of choices for midday snacks around the pool area as well. The beach is outstanding and staff is very eager to help. They should improve on a couple points though. What we didn't like is that breakfast is very limited overall, and very limited for people not eating pork.The hotel advertises beach volleyball and snorkeling equipment for use. Beach volleyball was advertised on daily activities as well, but was never set up during our stay, so I highly doubt they have it at all as whenever I asked about it, I was told it was taking place in the pool. Snorkeling gear was only available if you would book a snorkeling trip. That was not advertised as that too. Also, if there are pool tables, they should be level, and there should be chalk for cues."

"My husband and I just stayed at RIU Las Americas in Cancun and cannot stop raving about it. Granted the rooms decor could use some updating and my husband would have liked a sports bar. The beach was beautiful with soft white sand and kept up very nicely. Only wish it had a more walkable stretch. But these are not compliments just comments, suggestions, etc. everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at several RIUs and have enjoyed em all. "

"Andrea the manager was polite and wonderful. Marco and Kenia from the front desk gave me the red bracelet which was an upgrade for booking through Expedia! Perks came with it! Wendy and Karlita at the cafè were my favorite! Made the drinks just the way I liked and toasted my friends pastries perfectly as well! Extremely patient and upbeat! Diego was really enthusiastic by the pool! Always on beat and always dancing with a smile! "

"We just returned from 4 nights (Jan 10-14). We had a fantastic stay in a Serenity Oceanfront, swim out suite. The room was clean, well appointed, and very comfortable! My husband is not a pool guy, but enjoyed every minute in our swim out pool. The staff provided great service, always willing to go above & beyond to ensure we were happy. We landed home last night and I’m already planning our next stay!!"
