"My first time to the Cotswolds and this was the perfect start. The White Hart Royal had all the charm and coziness I was expecting. Very friendly staff and perfect bar and restaurant. I would definitely recommend this inn for any visit to the Cotswolds. Very easy train ride from London too and a brief walk from the train station to the hotel "

"Old Tudor hotel in centre of Tewkesbury. Although you got the feel of a Tudor property, the rooms & bathrooms have been refurbished with modern fittings, & walk in showers. No lifts & bedrooms over two floors so there can be quite a few steps. All staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Bar closed 10.30pm even for residents Thursday which was a surprise. Night porter had to let us in & just said most places close 10.30pm mid week. Most hotels I stay at serve to residents, even if it is just...
