"Unfortunately not the same hotel has previously stayed in a few years ago, in need of a major update, staff friendly although some didn't want to help, restaurant was poor food and service had one drink when maybe I would have liked a couple with my meal, instead of being full around 8pm on a Saturday only three couples, missing a great opportunity to shine in the city l was born in and now find myself visiting from overseas "

"We’ve stayed here many times before and this was no different. All the staff are always so helpful and friendly. It’s only a short walk to the town, the Avon and the RSC. We love staying the original part of the property where the floors are reassuringly squeaky and wonky…it is Shakespeare country after all."
