"We’ve stayed here many times before and this was no different. All the staff are always so helpful and friendly. It’s only a short walk to the town, the Avon and the RSC. We love staying the original part of the property where the floors are reassuringly squeaky and wonky…it is Shakespeare country after all."

"The customer service and the setting here is amazing. But if you want a family room they’re dated and in need of refurbishment. If you get a regular double towards the back of the property they’re much better"

He also arranged late check out for us and helped us organise our parking. Brad was so helpful and genuine. He didn’t tire of helping us "

"Beautiful location, very walkable from the train station and to the old town where the historic sights are. It’s a modern hotel, very clean m, and the staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit, the only caveat I’d say is to try to return from sightseeing before dark- since it’s dark by 7 pm at this time of year (early October) , it was a dark stroll coming in from town after dinner and the hotel grounds are not lighted after dark. "
