South San Diego hotel rooms a the Good Nite Inns

"The Rambler is an adorable beachy-themed Motel that has super cute vibes and an amazing staff! Our room was clean, beds were comfy, and the shower was awesome. My 6'4" tall husband was super excited when he fit in the shower comfortably! The lobby is beautiful, the cafe is breathtaking and the bagel sandwiches are DELICIOUS. It wasn't a free breakfast, but was very reasonably priced, more so with the room discount! The pool is stunning and at night has a great 70s beach feel. Neon lighting and a firepit! The staff were all so kind with great suggestions, super helpful tips and quick service! Bonus: they have beach cruisers for guests to use, and there is a bike path through the nature reserve 2 minutes away! The beautiful bay and nature reserve were easily seen from our room. We will be keeping this place in mind for every trip to this area of CA from here on out! "

"Nice quiet property, allowed us to check in early for a few which was convenient. Facilities and grounds are a bit dated but kept up well and clean. Staff was all lovely. The location was beautiful and convenient. There were dining options right across the street as well as a lovely park on city grounds. Easily walkable to little Italy and the sea wall/piers. Overall a great stay. "

"The hotel itself was surprisingly great. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Parking wasn't an issue and the breakfast was great! The area does get dicey at night with a lot of homeless in the area but we felt safe up on the third floor and didn't see any homeless on the property. Great amenities for the price: quiet microwave, a working refrigerator, and free coffee in room. The local Italian restaurant that was advertised in the room was also a huge hit with the entire family with cheap delivery. You can also catch a free view of the Seaworld fireworks from the third floor, which the kids loved. Overall it was a very good stay."

"Liked extensive games and activities for kids. Pool was terrific for young kids. Beach was excellent with good selection of boating. Rooms were a bit tired as they are old. Food choices were ok, but would have appreciated more variety."

"Super nice hotel. LOCATION IS PERFECT! Right next to EVERYTHING. Train station right across the street and take it anywhere from downtown to mission bay. Super easy. "
