"The area was nice. I felt safe and the room was clean. I think the hotel is rather old it would be better if it was updated. "

"Staying here was a real treat. The Inn was built in the late 19th Century and renovated somewhere along the way (See attached picture from 1890's. The restaurant is full of pictures from Calistoga history.). The Inn has a relaxed character that I like. The rooms have a bed and a sink. The bathroom/shower room is centrally located. I found this quaint and liked it. It gave a "homey" feeling to the situation. They had coffee and a scone for us for breakfast. The attached restaurant was welcoming....

"Nice quiet place but some irregular activities in the parking lot like people working on their cars, with a lot of tools laying around, other cars with broken windows covered with plastic bags, other cars with flat tires. "

"This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. "Loved the experience especially the female jazz singer on the patio of winery! My only issue I wish I was not told prior that the checkin is not at the inn but at winery building but they got us a shuttle quickly which assisted us! "
