"Everything very good. The only bad thing is that is very hard to access and get out of the hotel. Not to mention that it is prohibited to get uber or any other type of transportation that is not a site taxi. Which can get expensive and sometimes inconvenient. However besides that the hotel offers everything so that you can enjoy a calm stay. "

"This is a great resort for families with younger children. Kids will not get bored. Beach was warm very nice (little to no sargassum late Nov 2024). Food was great although not a million options. Kids club was fun with no time limits. Trampoline was great. Staff was great and quick. Rooms comfortable, everything worked. Only bad thing was that it was difficult or impossible to get Uber (cheaper than hotel service) because of the road condition into the property."

"Food and night entertainment is phenomenal , the beach tho sucks, like there’s no beach , like 2 ft of beach and all of it is covered in seaweed , unlike the pictures . And not really any daily entertainment staff the only thing I’ve seen them do is Zumba and sometimes when asked beach volleyball , but it’s not at the beach just a sand pit. . Other than that great Stay ! "

"This is a beautiful resort. We felt welcomed, and there was so much entertainment provided and amenities available, that we didn’t even need to leave the hotel if we didn’t want to. The restaurants were excellent and the hospitality was great. The only thing I have to say is that the hot tub in the room can use some disinfecting, because when we turned on the water and filled the tub, orange dirt starting coming out of the jets, which made me not want to go into the tub. We notified the concierge and they sent housekeeping to clean the tub the next day. "

"I recently stayed at Occidental at Xcaret Destination - All Inclusive, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The resort is surrounded by nature, giving it a tranquil, tropical vibe. The staff was attentive and helpful, always ensuring we felt welcome. The food options were diverse, with a mix of cuisines that catered to different tastes. The on-site activities and access to Xcaret Park were definite highlights, adding a unique adventure to the stay. One thing to note is that the resort is large, so getting around can take time but the beauty of it makes it worth it. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature with plenty of activities to enjoy, this is a great choice. I’d recommend it for families, couples, or anyone wanting a mix of adventure and relaxation."

"Overall, great place to stay. We enjoyed the food, on-site entertainment, and close proximity to the Playa Del Carmen strip. Rooms are a great size. You can tell the property has aged (visible repairs and cracked tiles) but it's clean. Spa prices are a little high but perhaps it's comparable to the other hotels in the area. We definitely recommend this hotel to others and we will come back."
