"Love the hotel. It is an old building so it doesn't have the sterile environment that modern buildings have, but it has a charm that can't be beat. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though. I can overlook that in view of the charm, location, the hard work of the cleaning lady. "We had communicated to the hotel on 2 separate occasions concerning our late arrival time which was to be about12:30 am. I was assured that someone would be there to check us in. Our taxi dropped us off on a very dark and deserted street and the door to the hotel was locked, we rang the doorbell and phoned several times but no response. "We had a very nice beachfront view. Daily housekeeping and coffee provided every day. Free continental breakfast very basic with juice, coffee, bread and fruit. Only ate lunch there several times. 45-75 minute wait for food, but that’s the standard on the island. Be sure to check your bill every time before signing. They had our room number wrong twice and when checking out we had a $60 charge not belonging to us. Management corrected that. WiFi extremely slow and no cable TV. Overall a nice...

"Great hotel with a lot of outdoor space. Not great for a digital nomad who works a 9-5, but nice for a digital nomad who works freelance or for a couple hours at a time. Lush gardens, on-site brunch, easy walk to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Walgreens nearby. Was able to get a surfing class set up, and they have a masseuse. "
