"Excellent experience at the Iberostar which was a host hotel for the Ironman. It was an excellent experience and the staff were very polite at all times. Good was great as well! They opened the breakfast at 4am on the morning of the race - and the staff were just as pleasant! Highly recommend the resort - it’s a great experience with “jungle” vibe and animals. "

"Property is old but in very good condition and clean. It's pretty no-frills but comfortable. I had a problem on the last day with my door lock, but the staff was friendly and helpful basically dismantling the door so I could get my stuff."

"Miguel and other staffs are very nice. Location is convenient, you can walk around the downtown. Restaurants, dive shops, pharmacy and souvenir shops are walking distance. Easy to get taxi from the property. I came for diving and the room has lots of hanger to dry my stuff. Cons: pillows and duvet cover kind of stink like they haven’t been washed in a while. Overall the property is great."

They did offer a safe in reception. Our door’s handle was so dodgy and found it difficult to lock/open. Didn’t feel safe to be honest but nothing happened. "
