"Great location, walkable too all the key sights, but out of the tourist throngs."

"We loved this hotel, location and the staff, but booked it for a wellness point of view which we did not get. There is no wellness area, there are several pool areas which were chaotic with guest from the hotel and external. Lots of children everywhere. There isn’t a specific spa area just treatment rooms and the saunas were out of use due to a fire. It is however a lovely hotel and great place to stay but nothing relaxing about it. "

"Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family. Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve. "This is a really very nice hotel with absolutely superb staff and a wonderful spa. Breakfast is excellent and the view from lake-facing rooms amazing. Why four, rather than five stars? First there is no room service. The reason given for this is that the hotel is spread over a large area and the hotel does not want to deliver sub-standard food. Fine, but if Deliveroo etc can deliver piping hot food across a town I’m sure this hotel could do perfectly decent room service if it wanted to. More...
