"The property is well located and in close proximity to the Powell subway station and cable car stop. Close to shopping and dining options. Union Square is a very short walk away. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean with the bathroom recently renovated. The mattress is unbelievably comfortable. The water dispenser in the lobby and the complementary pastries and coffee in the lobby each morning are nice touches. One drawback was that the hot water in the room was not so hot beginning in the afternoon. Overall, the hotel offers good value for the downtown location and I would stay there again when in San Francisco. "
