"Very nice hotel on the UCLA campus near the hospital and Jules Stein Eye Institute! The only negative was the shower: instead of a hand shower or a combination, the bathroom only had a small shower head positioned very high. I had an eye surgery and needed to be able to shower below the head which was absolute impossible. I really hate the fact that so many American hotels have neither hand showers nor bidets. "

"If you are doing a short stop in Los Angeles and need to fly out next day this hotel is an excellent option. It’s clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms. To go to a nearby restaurant you must drive or get and Uber but just a 10 min drive which for me is ok. A nice are to visit near by (20 min by car) is Manhattan Beach. Nice pier, clean beach, good cafes and restaurants all in a 5 block radius. No homeless crowds there. "
