It had a nice size room for a LA hotel. It is an old building that’s been renovated and has lots of charm. The bed is a little close to the floor. The bathroom is pretty good size. The thing that stood out for me the most, was the shower. It had the best shower of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The nozzle was high enough I didn’t have to bend over. The hot water came very quickly and stayed the temperature it was set on, and the pressure was amazing!! Worth the stay just for the shower…

We really liked pretty much everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and being DT LA the number of places to choose from to eat was anything but lacking. One thing we really liked was the fact that it was a block from the whole foods so getting things like water and snacks for the room was convenient to do. The rooms had this old time feel but it was in a cute way and didn't give a dated feel. The tile work in the bathroom was great and I think most importantly it was clean.The bed was reasonably comfortable and the pillows were a good quality too. The only complaint I had was that although I understand the price for valet I wish it was included in the room because for a weekend stay it adds 120 dollars to the bill which is kinda wild, but again understandable. If you don't absolutely need it there's a parking structure at 835 S hill less than a block away that was less than one night of valet with in and out privileges. 👌 All in all totally recommend it. All of that to say is we'll be back We didn't get a chance to try the food that was there but it always smelled really good coming in and out
