I don't think the nearly $50/person resort fee is reasonable when amenities are closed. We don't gamble and come to Vegas to visit family that lives here. We're so sad the pool was closed and consider it the only amenity we use. So the extra charge seems too steep for us. Front desk staff are so snobbish and downright rude to people. But the rest of your staff is lovely!

I was a little disappointed with the customer service for reservations. I contacted them in advance to make sure I had a refrigerator for my medications and was told that I either had to upgrade my room or I could use an ice bucket. I really didn’t have a choice so the trip ended up costing me a lot more than quoted on Expedia. The property is super convenient for Fremont Street but there’s a lot of noise, especially on the weekends. The walls are also very thin so you may want to use the complimentary earplugs or bring your own. On a positive note, the valet staff and bellmen are excellent.

The whole surrounding area of the Nugget has gone downhill. Unsafe, dirty and the marijuana/drug use plus the homeless has made downtown worse. Ourside our room in the Carson Towers was very noisy. Kids running in hallway, adaults sitting on hallway floor at 3 in the morning having loud conversations. Will not stay at the nugget again or any hotel downtown.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t stay at the property because they couldn’t locate my reservation and had to wait 5 hours and to no luck. But hey I get to pay for a room that they couldn’t provide. And all I get are forms from Expedia and Golden Nugget. This has left a horrible taste in my mouth. Haven’t heard back from anyone. See you pick no refund option because you’re at the property and why would you cancel? Until the property cannot give you a room because they say the reservation doesn’t exist or there is a glitch in the system even showing them the confirmation in my phone. Expedia has been no help and golden nugget had me submit a form over a week ago.. and still nothing. I’ve never had an issue with Expedia, if you look back in May when my son’s flight was changed from like 6 to a midnight flight I had to drive him back from California to vegas. I didn’t fight the 30 bucks I got him home. This situation wasn’t in my control I paid for services and services weren’t rendered and I’m at fault. I didn’t hit cancel until the next day when I got how was your stay. Umm what stay? I waited all night there had to gamble and sit at bars spent money in their establishment and I’m being treated like Im in the wrong. This should be escalated and I’m so upset it hasn’t been. Just computers and forms no human people to speak too. This matter really does need to be looked into as I was completely mistreated in this process and then I’m expected at fault. How is this my fault?
