It was our first time there. Wanted to something different for Christmas. We reserved and paid for a King Spa Suite. After waiting in line for over an hour to get checked in (only 3 people working to check people in), we were put in a Spa Suite with two queen size beds. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Then had to pay a $450 security deposit in addition to all of their additional resort fees and parking fees. There were so many there, it was ridiculous trying to navigate through hords of people to get to the room, anywhere in the lodge. They only provide basic cable channels and the TV kept losing service, freeze up so it was difficult to relax and watch a show. The Christmas decor in the garden was beautiful but couldn't enjoy it to it's full potential with 100's of people in it at all times throughout the day. Fridge is packed with beverages that you are required to pay for and not enough room to put your own water, drinks. We attempted to eat breakfast at one of the restaurants which you can only access via the garden, once we managed to navigate the crowd to get to the restaurant entrance, the line was so long that would force us to stand in line for an hour. They have another little place you can get food, coffee, etc. but that line was also so long that we resorted to ordering room service which cost us over $100 for two breakfasts. They nickel and dime you. We learned our lesson and won't be going be back. Best Western is much better and breakfast is free.
