"We very much enjoyed our stay and the facilities at the Kauai Shores Hotel and would happily rebook here without a second thought! It was convenient to restaurants, shops and many activities. Being centrally located on the island made it easy ( with a car) to reach key points of interest on the island. The staff was outstanding at meeting our needs and requests and the resort in general was well maintained and clean. The only issue that we encountered was the parking. The spaces allocated to self parking were very narrow and we frequently found that guests needed to use 2 spaces to accommodate their vehicles or found themselves in such tight spaces that it was nearly impossible to get in or out of their cars. Valet parking resolved the parking issue, but wasn't convenient if plans entailed frequent trips to/from the resort. The beachfront allowed for great ocean swimming and relaxing on site."

"12/10!! Best hotel in the east portion of the island. Clean facilities, wonderful pools and water slides. Restaurant was better than Tidepools down south- farm to table delicious upscale meals! Monk seals on the beach. We were SO pleased! We will be back and have already recommended to friends for future stays!!! "

"We really enjoyed our stay but there is need for renovations to the property. Also, there was not enough staff for dining so they could not serve to capacity."

"Absolutely beautiful. I Had a plumbing issue at check-in and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. This resort was more lush and slightly more rural than most of the Princeville condos/vacation rentals. Gorgeous grounds and views. "

"Super chill spot. Great place for adults wanting to getaway yet also very family friendly - two connected pools, hot tub and beach water front. They have Pool tables, foosball and arcade games. Bartenders are very friendly - one in particular customizes drinks from local fruit!!! Super delicious. Would stay here again. They also free parking which was a huge plus since most places charge daily - it isn’t covered and they have a lot of birds, your car may be covered in bird droppings - other than that we were able to find a spot at all hours of the day. "
