"We enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony, maybe that was the VIP status, but it was perfect for our family. We loved the location, private beach for sunrise walks and the staff was awesome for check in, offering suggestions and providing beach chairs and an umbrella. The location was better than expected with walking distance to everything even a Jojo’s shaved ice and tons of restaurants. I’d prefer to stay here for a more laid back local feel than in Poipu with every tourist at the beach. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Aston Islander. The property is well maintained and right on the ocean. There are number of dining and shopping options within walking distance. I especially liked the Happy hour at the bar by the pool — good place to talk to fellow travelers. The room itself was in pretty good shape but could use some touch up paint. The bed could have been better located — it was directly under the AC unit. Overall, I recommend and I’d stay here again. "

"Property, at least when we were accommodated as we’d expected, was excellent. Very disappointed in Expedia for not reserving us the unit we had selected and reserved. Led to unnecessary hardship and tension. The Expedia process as far as Kiahuna is concerned, can’t be trusted."
