"Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles and helpful staff to gather luggage and help you to check you in. English speaking friendly staff in the front of the hotel. Unfortunately you are then inundated with staff required to offer you specials and deals they offer through the hotel, and do not take “no” for an answer easily. Throughout the rest of your stay anytime you walk through the front to the elevator to get to your room, you will be offered deals and promotions. This gets very tiresome...

We love that the European plan is available because we have our favorite restaurants, waiters and waitresses across the street who we look forward to seeing every year. "Overall it’s the most naturally beautiful property on La Ropa. Staff are helpful. Only drawback is lack of English of many staff members. Breakfast is great. Dinner is okay not great. Entertainment should do Mexican songs not terrible renditions of American music."

"spacious, loved the patio, pool and kitchenette. very friendly staff! didn't like that they don't supply fresh clothes for kitchette, but easily rectified when we stocked our grocery supplies. couch is worn and could be replaced, but didnt use it much anyways. showers weren't hot in our unit. overall enjoyable stay. would definetly come back again!"

"Clean and well appointed hotel with a very friendly staff. Lot's of great options on the buffets. The specialty restaurants left a bit to be desired. Their availability was limited and the staff seemed rather stretched to handle the the customers they had. While it was nice to have an occasional "sit-down" meal, the food quality was actually below what we found at the buffet. The only other issue we had was our in-room refrigerator did not work and was not repaired or replaced during our stay. "
