"The place is good for younger people that can walk to the river walk and around the area. For us it kind of hard, because we have old people with us. We wish the place would have a shuttler bus. Other why we are happy with our stay."

"The staff was attentive and personable. Isaac was very pleasant and efficient at the front desk. Any request was delivered promptly and positively. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. There was a secure feel to my stay due to needing the room key to get onto the elevator in order to reach my floor. Cleanliness of the room upon arrival and a day later while I was out of the room was excellent. Only downside was the $60 valet parking price per day of my stay. "Lovely historic hotel. Located next door to the Alamo and close to the riverwalk. Nice little pool area. There is construction at the Alamo which starts at 6 am and all day/ night freeway noise. Don’t bother with valet parking as they just put your car in the public lot beside the hotel. Hotel bathroom is small and dated. The shelf above the sink is so low the tap is obstructed and water only comes out in no a trickle. "
