"First, you have to let them know your time of arrival so they could accommodate late check ins. They are very nice however speaks limited English. The room is tight but again, we are there to explore Japan and be out most of the day so this is very decent for a place to sleep in. I loved our view and also loved how walkable it is from the Ryogoku subway station. The area is very quiet and I guess a very comfortable place out of the hustle and bustle of the city center. Thank you APA for such a wonderful and memorable vacation we had."

" Excellent services, good communication (English and Chinese), nice hot spring, updated facility and room. Its location is convenient, about 8 minute walk to Kyoto station, and 400 feet from several major bus routs. Our 280 sq room is spacious. Bathroom and toilet are clean and top notch. Hotel lobby has coffee and matcha tea. Hot spring (no charge) has free ice cream. The only issue is that the hall way upstairs (4th floor) is too hot, feeling like >80 F (25 C)"

"This was our first time at this hotel and we will definitely come back to stay here again in the future! It was very convenient and family friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, modern, and very spacious. Every floor had a common microwave, vending machine for drinks and a scale. The bathhouse was great. We enjoyed it after a long day of walking. The kids playroom is ideal for younger children aged 3 and below as the room is very small and does not have any play equipment for older children. The laundry facility is very convenient and has a vacuum sealing machine. The only downside is when other guests forget to take out their laundry and hotel staff cannot do anything about it unless the laundry has been left in the machine for at least an hour. There is a family mart convenience store that you can access from inside the hotel. Shiomi station is only a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel and is 3 stops away from Tokyo Station. There are a few restaurants, a Ministop convenience store, and a grocery store near Shiomi station. The staff was also very helpful when you needed them. My children left behind a few of their items and the hotel was quick to respond and confirm our items to ship back to us (at our expense of course). "
