"An extraordinary experience. A two story room! Cozy hosts, a heated basement for ski equipment, only 4 min walk away from the lifts and ski rental. The only nuisance is that there are only two showers at the bottom and sometimes they are taken. There is a laundry room downstairs with coin laundry. The heater is too intense and partially melted my suitcase…be careful. Otherwise lovely stay. "

"Such a cute place to stay. I stayed for a night coming back from Annupuri since it’s the closest resort to the hotel. Staff were so sweet to explain the facility in english. My room was super clean and so were the shared showers and washroom. All the amenities were there for use. They have snow equipment storage. Highly recommend for solo travellers! "Friendly, warm and welcoming. Great location, free parking and very comfortable. "

"Very clean, bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. Also appreciated the friendly staff, great view and free use of the washer and dryer. Only real complaint was that every morning about sixish some really loud local announcement would sound from the building across the street. Not really the hotels fault but it woke us up every morning. One thing to be aware of is there isn't much sound proofing so if you get unlucky and have noisy neighbors it could be a problem."

"This was our third stay at Freedom Inn. We love the location within walking distance to the ski field but away from touristy Hirafu. They have a great pick up drop off shuttle service which can take you to dinner in either Hirafu or Kutchan. Try Kutchan for a more authentic japanese experience. You can even stop by an onsen on the way! There also is a free shuttle to/from the ski lifts. The rooms are very spaceous and there is an onsen/ouffro on site too. The photos don't really do this place...
