"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "This was a wonderful stay, I stay in hotels almost every week, I never knew what to expect with this one. However, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was fantastic, the bed was super comfortable and the service was outstanding. The room was delightful too, although I was upgraded which was amazing. "

"Took the ferry from Fishguard and wanted a pleasant place to stay the night before. This was a great pick! The only disappointing thing was my massage, otherwise it was all great. Solid food, lovely view, friendly staff, great. The room is basic, and the double bed was two singles pushed together, so you're still effectively in a twin as the gap is very noticeable. "

"Good: dinner & b/fast were good value & quality Parking Bad: party in on the Saturday night that we stayed. V noisy children screaming non stop. Useless parennts and hotel staff did nothing. Dinner booked for 1845 seated 1930. Meal not served Until 1945 !! "

"The owners are fantastic. Very cheerful and helpful. The building is huge with lots of options. They have an excellent chef. The food was on point. The sports bar was large and the bar was great for a more quiet drink. They had a good local musician who was fun and full of life. There is a great banquet room as well. The rooms are clean and more than adequate. Nice hot shower. Very charming location. Nice town with a cute waterfornt. Definatley worth a visit. "
