"This was a great spot for our getaway to San Diego. I traveled with my wife and 18-year-old son. The resort had everything we needed, and the location was great for exploring the city and its attractions. Everything was 10-20 minutes away by car. The only think that was not great was the parking situation. Parking is $43/night. We chose to park in a little public lot adjacent to the property instead. A lot of the street spaces don't allow for overnight parking, but the lot we found in the park is legal and free 24/7 except for Tuesdays."

"All of the hotel staff was very friendly. Parking ramp was very accessible. We used the hot tub daily at 6am when they opened and the area was not cleaned from the night before. There was always towels and other items leftover. Other than that the other areas of the pool deck were very clean. We ate at Brew 30 on Christmas night. We sat at the table for 30 minutes and no water was offered. I approached the server 4 times during that 30 minutes to ask for menus and water and he continued to say he will be right there and never came. I went to the bar for water and ordered our food online. They did offer to comp our desert for the inconvenience. Other than these 2 small issues this hotel was amazing. Beautiful, comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping delivered several items to our room that we forgot. I would definitely use this hotel for our future travels."
