"We were pleasantly surprised on this find. The hotel is perfectly situated, in our opinion. It is on the east side of midtown just far enough away from the frenetic tourists. Bit only a couple of blocks from fifth avenue and a few blocks from Central Park. The hotel building is a beautiful older building in excellent condition. We had a 1 bedroom King suite for me, my wife and our adult son. This room was a large apartment for Manhattan. Small kitchen, large dining/living room. Very large tvs in the bedroom and living room. The hotel put a roll away in our living room for our son, but it was too short. He ended up sleeping on the leather sofa. The sofa was a pull out so we had them make that up the next night. He said that was very uncomfortable. So he closed it up and slept on the sofa again. He said it was perfectly fine. So that would be our only complaint. The rest of the property was great. Great little fitness facility too. "

"The Park Lane is truly a gem! We upgraded to a Park View room and seeing the sun rise over the park each morning was a treat. Proximity to several trains and the iconic Central Park made getting around a breeze. And PL’s rooftop bar, Darling, is so beautiful! We had the best trip!!"
