"Great location, near the train lines. Decor was interesting, colorful. The lobby seats are sleek but too low. We walked 15,000 steps daily and a quick seat was not pleasant. Delicious brunch, every thing was really good, orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Small ice cream was freezer burned at the MARKET. Did not see enough amenities to warrant the additional cost. There is nothing worse than having a add costs to a budgeting trip upon arrival (day one). "

"The location is amazing. You have a subway stop just a few steps (20 second walk?) from the hotel's entrance. Macy's is right around the corner, along with a bunch of great Korean restaurants, drug stores, etc. Rooms were decent, zero issues. It's a great hotel if you are in town for some tourism. It's not a "cool" hotel where you'll want to spend a lot of your time; but it's perfect if you just need a home base for a few days while you're out exploring the city. Would stay again."

"I love the art deco styling of this classic hotel! You don't see architecture or details like this in newer properties. The staff was wonderful. Everyone from the front desk to the concierge desk could not have been nicer or more helpful with suggestions on restaurants, directions, etc. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in NYC."
