Family friendly Hotels in San Jose, California

"Loved the historic buildings, grounds and history. Not a fan of the food, but we didn't have the sandwiches or burgers. The $25 buffet breakfast was OK, chafing dishes left open , so cold eggs. Rooms (tried two) HAD NO HEAT! Got a portable, but why was it even sold. "

"I was really happy with the size of the room. I liked the toiletries they provided. The first room they assigned us smelled like cigarettes so we asked for a new room and the woman at the front desk was very helpful and immediately switched our room. The staff was also friendly and helpful when I lost my key getting me set up with a new one. "

"There was a stale cigarette order in the building and a spray endeavoring to mask the smell. The set-up of the room was odd. The walls in the hallway could use a good cleaning, and the carpet needs to be replaced, but the room was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room was exceptionally clean. With a little work and a few more upgrades, this property could easily go into a higher category. "
