"It's a small hotel. We booked a family suite which has the bedroom upstairs and sitting area downstairs, it's spacious though not quite efficient.The room is very nice and clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is good too. The only disappointment was we didn't have any towels for the first night, the reception was already closed when we found.We saw ants in our room which would deduct the rating a bit. "What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. "We had one of the modern rooms so didn’t feel the “castle” feeling in our room. The grounds and breakfast room were very beautiful though. Ours was a plain room, but overall comfortable, with heating, and pretty spacious for 3 of us. we had a few ants in the bathroom and on the beds though since our arrival.
