"Beautiful place,perfectly situated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is great (though the coffee included with breakfast isn't so good). My only suggestion would be to set the room temperature so guests can't tamper with it, one of the occupants cranked it up to sauna levels, which is neither customer nor eco-friendly. Otherwise, it was close to perfect and I'd stay again"

"The side street this hotel was located on was a bit sketchy, but very close to the main road. Staff and the quality of the hotel was great- definitely geared toward an under 45 crowd. Rooftop pool was unavailable due to maintenance which was a bummer. There was a considerable amount of mold in the bathroom of my ‘box’- around the base of the shower and in behind the sink. "The hotel is in the most central street for commerce, in Porto, in a lovely area. It is a very old hotel which has been refurbished to continue to feel modern and comfortable (and it does). The room was great. Housekeepers were excellent. Breakfast was good. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that this hotel has a number of young and unexperienced workers with little notion of service, and that they are there to provide a great experience. "This hotel is an absolute gem. Miguel is wonderful- so knowledgeable and gave us excellent local recommendations as well as a glass of port on entry! Room was fantastic- beautifully presented. "The property is very clean and very close to the major attractions. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I needed help with direction and learning the city metro system, they did their best to help me. The breakfast was good, plenty and very convenient in the morning to have it in the property. The industrial aesthetic, dim lighting and absence of windows might lead one to overlook it. I would stay here again on a solo trip but the box might be tight for two people."
