"We loved everything about this property. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. They allowed us to store our bags while we waited for our check-in time which was very convenient. The property is in an amazing neighborhood that has restaurants and shopping less than a 30 second walk. Our private room/with private washroom was located just off of a private street, so we did not have any issues with noise. Highly recommend!! "

"This was in an excellent and safe location for getting anywhere in the city, and Manuel shared all the necessary stops in town. The bus for the airport and the metro for Old Town were steps away from the front door. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast and host Anna were exceptional. And it was no problem sharing access to the bathroom with the other rooms. We highly recommend Republica and would love to visit again! "

A special shout out to Paulo on reception who was incredibly helpful and gave us suggestions and helped with the luggage on our last day. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. "The property was very clean and well maintained. The only negatives were that the first night we arrived, a Saturday , it was very noisy till about 2 am. The source of the noise was outside the area of this establishment but in the same building. The other was that there was almost no storage space in the unit. Hence the 4 rather than 5."
