Ikebukuro hotel rooms a the Capsule and Sauna Century Group

"Location is close to Ueno station (good). Room is small, bathroom is small. Spa is a plus. We stayed in the annex building, need to cross street to use spa. However, 3.5 star is a bit over rated. I will say it is more like 3 star."

"Hotel is a bit old and noisy at night even we stayed at the 10th floor but I guess it’s in the heart of ueno. Staffs are so nice and helpful!! We stayed twice already we love it. Rooms are spacious great for families. "

"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "
