Shangri-La Bangkok
5.0 star property

"We’ve been to Bangkok’s Shangrila on many occasions. We keep returning because this beautiful property is located on the river and it’s such a great escape from Bangkok’s busyness. And going into town is so easy because the sky train station Saphan Taksin is next door. Spa is amazing! Food is amazing! And somehow their staff is even more amazing than before. So I had to walk around the neighborhood for an hour before I could check in and take a shower. Overall, the staff was pleasant. The room was clean and the location was within walking distance to all the fun."

If I had ONE complaint it's that the breakfast is average, but it's still good for the price and didn't get me sick. That said, this was my first trip to Bangkok and I do have to say the surrounding area is VERY off-putting in terms of traffic safety, aesthetics, and the somewhat limited dining options. But that might just be par for the course for...
