The room was small but enough for 2 people, and it was definitely clean and quiet. The public bath was much smaller than expected and got pretty crowded at night, which was the only minus point. But for those who don't use the public bath, they have a bathroom in the room so there is no inconvenience. We will be back! "

"Great location. Older style hotel and our initial room was very poor and we were moved to an excellent room because the air conditioning didn’t work in the first one. The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen. The breakfast staff were also wonderful as were the cleaning staff and others at reception. The hotel is old but obviously some rooms...

"Stayed only a single night here after doing the Alpine route as it's very convenient and close to the station. It's a decent place, not too fancy. Room was an ok size, bit squishy for afamily of 4.Bonus was the public baths which is always nice in Japan."
